Social & News Monitoring
What Social & News Monitoring covers
Section titled “What Social & News Monitoring covers”Social & News Monitoring collects social media posts and news articles that mention your organization. Each post and article is tagged with a sentiment, "Positive", "Neutral", or "Negative", so you can see how your organization is being discussed and spot negative coverage early.
To open it, select "Company Protection" in the left menu, then "Social & News Monitoring".

| Menu item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| "Overview" | Recent posts and articles, and charts of volume and sentiment by platform, news category, and time. See Social & News Monitoring Overview. |
| "Social & News Content" | Every collected post and article, to search and filter. See Social & News Content. |
| "Disinformation Monitoring" | Narratives and coordinated posting about your organization. It appears only on accounts where it is enabled. |
Sentiment is scored automatically. Sarcasm and quotation can be scored wrongly, and reporting on an attack against you can read as negative without being reputational damage, so read the post before you act on its tag.
