Assign To

"Assign To" makes one user responsible for the findings. Choose the user in "Assign To:". The list holds the users with access to the account. On a detail page this action is "Assign", and its dialog is "Assign Finding".

• Status: unchanged. Assigning sends no notification.
• Score and severity: unchanged.
• Default views: unchanged. The user shows in the "Assigned User" column.
• Where: every finding grid, the Findings page, and every finding's detail page.
• Who: every role in a grid; Admins and Analysts on a detail page.
• Undo: assign another user. A finding cannot be left unassigned again.

Example: five vulnerabilities sit on one server. Select them, assign them to your infrastructure lead, and add "Patch in the next maintenance window".
